Former IDF Company Commander Amos sustained a severe injury during Operation Protective Edge in 2014. Undeterred, he pursued academic excellence and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tel Aviv University's LL.B. program (Bachelor of Laws).
Amos has delved into various legal roles, including positions at the Tel Aviv District Court, the Ministry of Justice, and the Supreme Court of Israel. His true passion is advancing the rights of disabled IDF veterans. He is committed to creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for those who have sacrificed so much for their country.
Thanks to the generous support of the E. David Fischman Scholarship, Amos will pursue a graduate degree in law at Columbia University this Fall. This exceptional program will equip him with the necessary knowledge, skills, and global perspective to make a lasting impact in the Israeli public sector.
During this exclusive reception, you will have the opportunity to meet and greet Amos and enjoy hors d'oeuvres and wine while mingling with like-minded individuals who share a passion for making a positive impact.
Following the Gimel Society reception, please stay for the community program to hear Amos speak about his compelling journey, gain insight into his vision for a better society, and learn about his aspiration to become a judge, advocating for the rights of disabled IDF veterans.
